Here at African King Tropicals, we provide you with the best quality wild caught African cichlids to the dedicated hobbyists around the globe! We specialize in wild caught African Rift Lake Cichlids. We have suppliers all around both lake Tanganyika, and lake Malawi; the two lakes which some of the most beautiful & wondrous species of freshwater fish come from. Our goal is to not only provide all our customers with the best quality wild caught stock around, but share all of our knowledge and understanding of these amazing fish with you.

Our wild stock comes in direct shipments from the African Rift lakes Malawi & Tanganyika. The majority of our fish come out of Lake Tanganyika, from  Lusaka, Zambia. The fish are caught all around the lake, and held in catching stations then transported to Lusaka to prepare for the long journey ahead. We specialise is African cichlids from the Congo, where some of the nicest and most extraordinary cichlids come from. Read more here...
